My duties can only be taken up by other Quartermasters. Perhaps a Boatswain in case of an emergency.

I have served as both those positions on other ships (might I direct you towards that wonderful resume of mine?), but even though I wouldn't dream of trying to wield your authority there may be other things I can do to ease your burden.

You need to take good care of yourself, Ukitake. It's not your time yet.

Has something happened to you, Jushirou? There's been a big commotion over something that happened in town. I'm not really sure what's happened, but it sounds like a some people were hurt. You weren't involved, were you? Do you need a doctor?
